ZEFS AKTINIDIA SA is an exports, verticalized organization producing, collecting, preserving, standardizing and distributing kiwis and table grapes. It has been acknowledged as the first Producers Team in Greece by the Ministry for Rural Development and Food, according to Regulation 2200/96 of the European Union. Today, it is one of the largest Producers Teams in Greece, with over 350 members, a total cultivated land of 4,161 acres, owned facilities of 11,000 sq. m. on a plot of 30 acres, preservation chambers with a capacity of 10,000 tons and a modern electronic sorter of round fruit, equipped with fruit quality identification cameras, exporting 95% of its production to 30 countries in 4 continents. The company invests on research and development of new items and varieties, contributing to the restructuring of crops and agricultural sustainability, converting farmers-members to successful entrepreneurs.

Need

A strategically important decision for ZEUS AKTINIDIA SA was to focus on quality and product control, from the land to the super market shelves. For this reason, the company needed an ERP system connecting to the zeusCore plot monitoring Internet platform and the automated collection system, creating a complete traceability system ensuring connection of all production, collection, preservation and trade processes, from the land to the points of sales. Thus, the company’s needs focused on the integrated monitoring of the production process, quality control, traceability and employment of processes to facilitate producers.
