It has 2,500 employees, and its turnover in Group level amounts to €170 million. Regency Casino Thessaloniki, a member of Regency Entertainment, is one of the largest and most luxurious casinos in Europe, right at the heart of Macedonia since 1996. Regency Casino Thessaloniki is the first Regency complex in Greece. It is constantly updated, offering top services to its visitors, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Need

A strategic choice both for Regency Entertainment and Regency Casino Thessaloniki is the focus on quality, excellence and effectiveness, both in customer service and their general performance. For this reason, they constantly invest on new technologies and deploy modern digital solutions and best practices, ensuring their constant operation. In the framework of their IT systems’ upgrades, they sought for an integrated business management solution for the Group’s activities.
Regency Entertainment had the following needs:
• Optimization of supply chain processes
• Collection and unification of all financial data generated by IT systems of Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki and Regency Casino Thessaloniki
• Collection and unification of financial information and availability for MIS reporting through a uniform system
• Management Reporting upgrades
At the same time, Regency Casino Thessaloniki had the following needs:
• Unification of all Casino systems, including CRM, loyalty, reception system and ERP
• Management of multiple points of sales, including bars, retail shops, game room, events entertainment center, restaurants

Solution

To cover the above needs, Regency Entertainment and Regency Casino Thessaloniki trusted the solutions provided by the Epsilon Net Group of Companies, due to its extensive experience in various, multi-faceted IT projects.
In particular, Regency Entertainment deployed the Dynamics 365 Business Central – InnovEra (ERP) solution, implemented by Data Communication, offering advanced functionality and complete adjustment to the Greek legislation and International and Hellenic Accounting Standards.

The solution included:
• Financial Management
• Commercial Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Business Information (MIS)
• Approval flows for turnover management, integrating the supply chain
• Interfaces for collecting financial data from all connected systems to Dynamics 365 Business Central – InnovEra (ERP), including the current Payroll program, the Opera hotel system, the Corporate Performance Μanagement and Business Intelligence (BI) Oracle Hyperion system of Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki
• Interface with the document import service from retail points of sales in Microsoft Dynamics NAV (OTR system) of Regency Casino Thessaloniki
In addition, Regency Casino Thessaloniki used the Galaxy platform by Epsilon SingularLogic, and, more specifically, the Galaxy Enterprise Suite, Restaurant & Retail subsystems for the computerized organization of its retail shops, restaurants and sales. The main criteria included know-how, resources availability, competitive cost of acquisition and maintenance for the solution and flexibility in the deployment of new requirements of the company.
