By operating its 3 business units:
• Regency Casino Mont Parnes (casino, hotel and cable car in Parnitha)
• Regency Casino Thessaloniki (luxurious casino complex in Thessaloniki)
• Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki (5-star hotel in Thessaloniki, with a sophisticated conference center)
• Regency Entertainment offers unique entertainment experiences on a daily basis, in a safe and pleasant environment.
In 2010 the company was awarded globally with the Gold Quality Commitment Award of Business Initiative Directions (BID) for business excellence, leadership, marketing, customer service and its performance in general. This award acknowledges Regency’s commitment for excellent results in all aspects of its operation and confirms that the company established top quality as an integral part of its operation.
Regency Entertainment has 2,500 employees, and its turnover in Group level amounts to €170 million.

Need

In the framework of its IT systems’ upgrades, Regency Entertainment sought an integrated business management solution for the Group’s activities. The following requirements applied for the new system:
• optimization of supply chain management procedures
• collection of all financial data produced by the IT systems of its two major business units, Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki and Regency Casino Thessaloniki
• unification of financial information, making them available for MIS reporting through a uniform system
• Management Reporting upgrades

Solution

To cover the above needs, Regency Entertainment chose Data Communication, based on its extensive experience in multifaceted Informatics projects. The Microsoft Dynamics NAV – InnovEra ERP solution was chosen for its top functionality and complete adjustment to the Greek legislation and International and Hellenic Accounting Standards

The following subsystems were deployed as part of the project:
• Financial Management
• Commercial Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Business Information (MIS)
The following were also developed:
• Approval flows for managing the sales cycle, in order to complete the supply chain
• Interfaces for collecting financial data from all systems connected to the Microsoft Dynamics NAV – InnovEra (ERP)
In particular, the following interfaces were developed:
• current Payroll program
• Opera hotel system
• Corporate Performance Μanagement and Business Intelligence (BI) Oracle Hyperion system of Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki
• entries import service from retail points of sale to Microsoft Dynamics NAV (OTR system) of Regency Casino Thessaloniki
