The company provides innovative & reliable services for houses, companies and public buildings. It is oriented to covering the energy needs of the modern Greek family, professionals and the industry. Through constant updates of its services, with a sense of responsibility & respect for the environment, the company “energizes” each moment!
PUBLIC GAS CORPORATION SA (DEPA) and a foreign strategic investor (ENI), also providing administration, participate in Zenith by 51% and 49% respectively.

Need

In the framework of Zenith’s strategic decision to become involved in the Electrical Energy Supply sector, the company sought for a specialized partner for the planning and support project of the new operational model, with the following main goals:
• Coverage of both its activities, energy and natural gas supply, in a uniform system
• Optimization & further automation of operating processes
• Integrated management of Sales, Service & Marketing
• Utilization of cutting edge technologies
• Interface with third party systems (EDA, DEDDIE)

Solution

In order to cover the above requirements, Zenith trusted Data Communication (DC) for a second time. The factors taken into consideration were the successful previous cooperation of the two companies and DC’s advanced know-how in the Energy sector, both through the deployment of verticalized CR projects and with the best practices it has applied in EPA THESSALONIKI SA, EPA THESALLY SA and HERON THERMOELECTRICAL.

The Energy Dynamics Accelerator solution was picked, a verticalized, integrated IT solution developed by DC for the Electrical Energy and Natural Gas sectors. This solution is based on and utilizes the internationally acknowledged platforms Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft SQL Server. These systems are interconnected via the Microsoft Biztalk solution, also connected to the Billing system and other Zenith systems/supporting applications.
The Energy Dynamics Accelerator solution consists of flexible, expandable and rapidly adjustable subsystems to new functionality requirements or changes in existing requirements, guarantying the longevity of the investment and the securing of a brief ROI. It is worth noting that the Energy Dynamics Accelerator solution was awarded in 2016 in the Business IT Excellence Awards, in the category “Specialized applications in business sectors”.
