PeopleCert manages the entire process of examinations and certification, with a wide, internationally acknowledged portfolio of 500 certification programs in sectors including Informatics, Project Management and Language Proficiency. It cooperates with 10,000 examinations centers globally, with 9,000 external partners.
With the Group’s average growth rate at 40%, it is clear that its operations monitoring and management needs are increasing rapidly.

Need

Aiming to improved organization and optimization of its business processes for improved management and service of its extended clientele, PeopleCert sought a modern, international ERP solution and a Supplies Management IT system working on Microsoft Azure and ensuring the following:
• Integrated and uninterrupted interface of all communications and transactions with certification centers, regardless of the communication channel they derive from or registered in (Passport, Eliss, CRM, Master Data Hub)
• Design and management of multi-company and multi-currency options in a common database in ERP (7 companies in Greece, England and Turkey)
• Management of complex pricing policies in a uniform ERP solution, responding to current and future needs of PeopleCert
• Complete integration of ERP & Supplies Management systems for uninterrupted monitoring of all the supplies cycle, with features for demanding approval flows, controls & interfaces with other IT systems
• Homogenization of the PeopleCert Group processes, aiming to uniform monitoring and export of integrated statistics

Solution

In order to cover the above requirements, PeopleCert chose Data Communication as a reliable partner with long experience in the deployment of respective projects. The Microsoft Dynamics NAV – InnovEra on Azure top international solution of business resources management and DC e-Procurement supplies management web application by Data Communication were used.

Bilateral connection:
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV – InnovEra on Azure with DC e-Procurement to ensure available budget control for all supplies or expenses applications and integrated management of Orders, insufficient orders & insufficient receipts, warehouse & accounting entires updates, expenses updates etc.
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV – InnovEra on Azure & Dynamics 365 for Sales for broader management of customers and partners
• DC e-Procurement with the existing HR system to receive the necessary details for employees & organizational chart, ensuring access rights & approval flows in the system
Project deployment was based on the international Microsoft Sure Step project deployment methodology.
With the release of the Dynamics 365 Business Central version, the PeopleCert Group has utilized the upgraded features of the Dynamics 365 Business Central – InnovEra version
