MIXAHIL S.A. was founded in 1979 by Sotirios Michail as a sole proprietorship, based in Mouzaki, Karditsa. In 2005, the company changed its structure and became a Public Limited Company (S.A.), acquiring the distinctive title MIXAHIL S.A. The company also moved its headquarters to its new, privately-owned facilities at the 1st kilometer of Mouzaki-Karditsa, where its offices were relocated as well. Since 2015, the company has expanded beyond Mouzaki, opening a total of 10 supermarkets in the regions of Karditsa and Trikala and one furniture and home decor store in Karditsa. Since 2021, it has been part of the Greek supermarket group “ELOMAS,” which has over 600 stores across Greece. Today, it employs over 120 staff members and serves more than 4,000 customers daily.

Need

With the expansion of the business, the management of MIXAHIL S.A. recognized the need to reorganize and computerize its departments, and entrusted Cherry Plus with its full computerization, aiming for flexibility, efficiency, and competitiveness in the market.

Solution

It was decided to install the PYLON Commercial Hybrid and Retail Studio applications by iQOM (a member of the Epsilon Net Group) for managing retail sales in the 10 stores. The new information system was fully implemented by Cherry Plus, with support from the Central Greece department of Epsilon Net.

Central Administration of Commercial and Accounting Management
With the PYLON Hybrid application, customized for the needs of MIXAHIL S.A. The installation is based on a local network and connects the stores via VPN, with 18 users.

Central Warehouse
With the PYLON WMS module for receiving, picking wholesale orders, and using Zebra portable terminals.

Sales & Invoicing
With the PYLON SFA Hybrid & XVAN module for organizing salespeople and invoicing on-site.

Retail Sales
With the Retail Studio application in 10 stores, including the management of receipts, stockouts, and reorders.

E-shop
The operation of an e-shop is planned, aiming to serve customers with home deliveries and artificial intelligence (AI) routines for optimal order management.

The trust-based relationship between the companies led to a new assignment for managing and providing digital promotion services by the entropia department of Cherry Plus.
