Company

VOTOMOS SA is a company specializing in all bottled water stages, from its collection to its sale. The water is sourced from the carbonate rocks of Psiloreitis, on a 402 meter altitude, to a large supply basin. From a depth of 180 m, through third generation pipes, the water reaches the ZAROS SA with natural flow.
In February 2017, ZARO’S Bottled Natural Mineral Water received the gold award in the “Bottled Water” category of the 27th Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting, the oldest and largest water tasting competition in the world, held in Berkeley Springs, West Virgina, USA.

Need

Real-time monitoring of the specialized manufacturing process in combination with the need to optimize all company processes and information access from any location of the executives, led VOTOMOS SA to search for a new computerized organization system, providing “end-to-end” coverage of its management daily tasks and enterprise mobility to facilitate the execution of daily tasks and secure necessary information for strategic decision making by the administration.

VOTOMOS, wishing to modernize its operations and take the next digital step, chose Epsilon SingularLogic and the PYLON ERP solution as well as PlaySystems, an authorized Epsilon SingularLogic Solution Partner, who also implemented the project, as its strategic partners.
An important factor in the utilization of the new computerized organization system, in addition to user-friendliness, immediate adjustment to the company process and high investment VfM (Value for Money) was its deployment using modern technologies, for timely coverage of future needs.

PYLON ERP provided integrated coverage for the 40 job positions in the company, in the execution of its entire range of processes and operation. All the above job positions required proper training and specialized configuration, allowing every user to complete their daily tasks quickly, without being confused in the multitude of functions and data provided by the PYLON ERP platform.
In addition, PlaySystems, with specific upgrades on the company network, made sure that physical locations were provided with Gigabit fast LAN and the points were connected through VPN, using Mikrotik’s RouterOS, securing the necessary security and speed. PlaySystems utilized the Microsoft data compression function employed in PYLON ERP and specific configurations to secure the “company’s” presence at the presence of its executives, providing the latter with the flexibility they needed to perform their daily tasks, from any location.
An indicative example is a company employee at the exports department, who was working on the platform from his laptop, being away on a business trip in China.
